Position/title: Wine Store Manager Job Description: Dotcom Wines & Spirits, recipient of Hartford County’s “Best Wine Store in 2009” award. We are passionate about having the best selection of over 5,000 wines, 400 beers and complete spirits in the state. We have strong relationships with wineries from around the world, which ensures our commitment to selection service and value for our customers. We are looking for a Wine Store Manager to join our company. This is the perfect position for an energetic wine savvy person with excellent customer service skills to become a lead member of our wine management team. Summary of Position Direct staff of in all aspects of wine, spirits and beer sales. Responsible for the profitability of Store operations. Every day duties include retail sales, assisting with customers, stocking, invoicing and all associated duties. Duties and Responsibilities • Minimum of 3 years experience in the wine industry. • An interest and passion for wine and wine/food pairing. • Exceptional sales and customer service background. • Perform advanced sales techniques and create marketing programs to help sell products. • Proven track record of driving sales and service. • Outstanding communication skills with a good floor presence • Knowledge of accounting, staffing, scheduling inventory and P&L accountability. • Strong leadership skills. • Manage the retail staff, giving them the tools to provide excellent customer service. • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment. • Ability to execute detailed operational processes through others. • Perform cash and credit handling procedures by utilizing our Microsoft Retail Management System. • Know how to complete opening and closing duties. • Must be able to work in standing position for long periods of time. • Must be able to reach, bend, and frequently lift up to 40 pounds. • Pass a background test. • Prefer Sommelier’s Certification Please submit Resume and Cover Letter to manthony@puretechholdings.com, explaining how your background makes you a candidate.
