We are currently looking for entrepreneurial individuals with a passion for wine and sales. If you are a motivated sales professional who is looking for a growth opportunity in the wine industry, please reply with a cover letter and resume to: careers@halcyonwines.com We have openings in the following territories at this time: Los Angeles San Diego Orange County San Fernando Valley Santa Barbara Palm Springs Pasadena Requirements: - Goal oriented with a proven track record of achieving sales and profit goals and creating positive relationships - Professional, organized and having the ability to thrive in a highly competitive environment - Proven sales skills - Excellent organizational skills - Knowledge and passion for fine wine and enthusiasm for wine sales - Polished interpersonal skills - Minimum of 2-3 years experience in fine wine sales - Pre-existing relationships with accounts in specified territories - Computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet - Candidate MUST own a working computer - Persuasive public speaking and presentation skills as well as the ability to close deals - Able to comfortably lift and move 40 lbs - Valid drivers license with a clean driving record and valid proof of automobile insurance - Strong work ethic with pronounced ambition to succeed - Flexible hours and freedom to travel Special consideration will be given to candidates with: - Extensive experience in fine wine sales, including familiarity with market and key accounts - Advanced wine education (MS/MW programs or equivalent) Responsibilities: - Managing sales in the market - Ensuring sales goals are reached - Working in the market to build strong relationships with off and on premise key accounts - Determining new accounts with which to place Halcyon products - Conducting in-store tastings and wait staff trainings - Participating in supplier market visits - Calling on and providing high-level service support to key retail and on-premise accounts - Developing new business and expanding Halcyon distribution Compensation: - Compensation is a highly competitive commission-based program with opportunity for advancement and bonus for meeting and exceeding performance-based goals.
